"The Golden Girl? No. No," I say, shaking my head and ignoring the jibe. I thought the only Golden Girl obsessee in the superhero set was Deadpool. If I ever see the guy again, I'll let him know he's not alone. They don't even have to fight over Bea Arthur.

I shake him a little, still looking him right in the eye. I talk louder over the music.

"Remember your friend, Irena?" I wait a beat. He might be crummy with names, but it happened two weeks ago and she robbed him blind. I assume he'll remember that. "She's real. And her name's not Irena."

I'm grinning -- just a bit -- because it's great. Oh, sure, this will probably all turn out terribly for everyone involved, but it's like I said before about it being interesting.

"It's Selina. Selina Kyle."
