Though her head was still spinning, Mary Jane could barely contain her relief when she saw that Peter had approached. She no longer needed saving from the tree -- of all the things to need saving from, after having been faced with the likes of the Green Goblin and Doc Ock -- but just knowing that he was there made this whole thing less scary. She'd thought, if only for a moment, that she might not have gotten to see him again.

"Fine, I'm fine," she replied quickly when he spoke, her own voice as low as his, though she spared a glance back over her shoulder at the man who'd caught her, whose name she never caught. "And - and I don't know, I was just at your place, and then -" Cutting herself off, she gestured up with a sharp tilt of her chin towards the tree she'd fallen from, her free hand pointing to the branch. Without realizing it, she'd rested the other on his shoulder, only in part to steady herself. "- Up there. He got me down."
