State of the Me: I've... had a pretty awful month, honestly, which I won't get into here, as it's been documented just fine elsewhere. I went a few days where the only game thing I did was Secret Santa-related, so it's entirely possible I missed some important post I was meant to tag into, because I've only just emptied my inbox after weeks of it exploding to the brim. My enthusiasm for the game, as a result, depends largely on my mood, but I have no intention of going anywhere.

Character: Peter Parker | The Amazing Spider-Man |daretodo

This month saw a lot more development than I was anticipating, especially in regards to Tony -- Pete's quietly admitted they're friends, but it'll take an extra push before he really starts to trust him again. Other than that and his and MJ's one year anniversary, though, it's been fairly quiet. January promises a lot more action (and potential action in the form of a New Year's surgery and, maybe, a clone in the form of Ultimate Spider-Man's Jessica Drew).

Stark Reassembled: Pete's on the A-Team with Tony and Duo, and since I don't know how much of this is meant to be kept secret, I'll just say that it's going to be awesome, and I look forward to it a lot.

Scientific lecture series: Is still happening, but won't be implemented in-game until February due to plot.

NDPD: It's becoming increasingly obvious to Peter that he's woefully ill-prepared if another Osborn-level threat from his past ever makes their presence known on the Island again. I've already had him tinker with the formula of his web-fluid with his NDPD gift from last year to compensate for the fact that he's no longer any stronger than any other man in his (increasingly impressive) shape. This year, I think, I'd like him to focus on fixing up his costume. So... a box with a limited amount of Kevlar and other impact resistant material, an incredibly basic sewing machine with several spools of black and white thread, and an electrician's tool kit.

Home Plot: The first one's been more or less planned for the better part of a year, but I'm entirely open to suggestions for the second.

Thread requests: Mary Jane (forever~), Tony, Pepper, Felicia!, Wolverine, Buffy!, the Brothers Winchester, Fred, Wanda, potentially Jessica Drew and Derek Shepherd, Clark Kent (when he's available)?... The usual.

Character: Jamie Madrox | X-Factor |howmanylives

Might actually be getting laid for the first time in years, so that's exciting, if not yet set in stone (maybe, I have to check)! Other than that, he's (finally) come to terms with the fact that he needs to focus on his own life, and not anyone else's. He's been heading in that direction for a while, now, honestly, but he needed a real catalyst to realize he's not this useless idiot who got abandoned for bigger and brighter things (whee, issues~), and the successful completion of the play was just that. Expect a slightly less bitter, more Heroic Age-era Jamie in the upcoming months until it all comes crashing down around him with his inevitable item that he will finally get in 2011 (but not in January).

Stark Reassembled: As a member of the IPD, he's technically gonna go on this, but my focus is really going to be on Peter for this plot, so he won't be incredibly involved, I don't think (unless someone has a really cool idea for something he could do up there. Or maybe a neat injury. I don't know.)

NDPD: Scuba diving equipment! Because he needs to get over his issues with water.

Home Plot: Jamie's going home regardless, but if there's interest for an X-Factor home plot, I could put together a brainstorming email. If anyone wants him for one of theirs, drop me a note!

Thread requests: Layla (forever~), Rahne, BRODIE, Rogue, Sawyer, Meredith, potentially Mark?, etc.

Character: Bucky Barnes | Captain America |onlyapassenger

I need to finish uploading all the awesome icons that Stef and Shane made for me. This is just a note to myself, because I keep putting off doing it, since the task seems mildly overwhelming at the moment. Other than that, Bucky's kept on keeping on. I had to push back his timeloop and item due to real life sucking, but that is still very much on the horizon.

Stark Reassembled: Much like Jamie, he'll probably be up there, but my focus is still very much on Peter, because it's a lot more relevant for his character development than it is my other two's.

NDPD: Weight lifting equipment, specifically, a Smith machine. I was going to give him the parts to make a dirt bike, but then I remembered that I wanted him to find Daphne's old horse, Presta (who's always had an attitude~), so he'll have a project anyway.

Home Plot: I'm waiting to see how the current arc of canon finishes before I decide if he's going to host his own or not, but wherever he ends up, he must be the professional badass that he is. :D

Thread Requests: Jason, Lucy, Bryce, Natalya, Lux!, Wolverine, potentially Tim Drake?, Harry Potter characters, etc.

I have no plans of apping anyone at the moment, but who only knows when that'll change -- could be tomorrow, could be next year. Now, though, a few random things of note:

1) I won't be around for NYE, so don't expect any threads from me.
2) I'll only have one EP next month: a joint-EP with my three guys I've been planning since I first apped Bucky in October.

The ITF are the main ones up there, as many of the IPD will be on the ground doing evacuations to the caves when things go down (you know, literally), so that's an option for Jamie if you want to keep him out of it.

Hmm, I will think about that, then, though if there are X-shenanigans going on up there, he'll definitely be a part of that.

AND THAT (VERY MEAN) ICON REMINDS ME, that it's also the anniversary of Osborn plot on the 7th, so Pete'll get a linked one-shot (unless Jessica shows up on that day, as previously discussed)!

And weeeeee should get started on some of those threads soon, since there will be a lot of them.
