State of Me: Bad, bad month all around, in real life and online both. I've been slow and apathetic as a result, and may take another hiatus in March so I can maybe get back into the groove of things. I anticipate making my reqs through private threads. I'm too snail-like otherwise, and I've made people wait enough this month.

Character: Peter Parker | The Amazing Spider-Man | daretodo

Home Plot: Is still in the process of being planned. Given that no one new's expressed an interest in tagging along since I first mentioned opening it up for more takers last month, it'll be locked down to the people I've already been in contact with. I've been dragging my feet on planning the specifics of this long enough, so I really just need to get cracking, since I don't even have a villain lined up yet.

Character: Jamie Madrox | X-Factor |howmanylives

Home Plot: There are no real details yet, but Layla will be hosting, and it will be in Latveria. Per recent canon, a dupe of Jamie's will be asking her to marry him. That... is all I know.

Character: Bucky Barnes | Captain America | onlyapassenger

Time Loop: Is still in the process of being played out. I'm pleased with it thus far, though I feel like my writing could be stronger.

Home Plot: If we manage to wrap time loop by early March, I will be sending Bucky back home, where the plot'll essentially be The Trial of Captain America with a few tweaks. There'll be Nazis and superheroes and lawyers and stuff. Lemme know here if you want in or are willing to sock somebody for me.

Character: Matt Murdock | Daredevil | TBD

I have about 100 issues left of current stuff to make through before I decide if I'm pulling him from pre-1985 or post-2007. If I app him -- and if he's even accepted --he'll probably be in April at the earliest.

Provided I've got a decent enough grasp on her voice by then (and I intend to pick up my reading pace soon), you'll totally have a Natasha from me. I'm not sure, though, that I'll be ready to app her during P2, especially since in addition to getting through all the canon I want to for the first time, there's a lot I know I'll want to go back and reread, and she's an intimidating enough character that I wouldn't be comfortable rushing it. I just really, really don't want to mess it up or make stupid mistakes, so she might get pushed back to the beginning of P3. That, however, is probably the very latest, because also want her like crazy.

That is perfectly understandable. <3 Obviously I want her like crazy, too, but I'd rather you feel comfortable with her so that way it's fun, and not stressful. In short: I (and Bucky, natch) WILL ENJOY HER WHENEVER SHE SHOWS UP. :D

I'm not sure how much you guys have planned for Peter's homeplot already and who's tagging along, but if I get X-23 (I'll be sending her app on Tuesday), you guys are welcome to have her tag along. But it's last minute, and I don't expect you guys to plot around maybes. xD

In terms of Marvel stuff, I don't think Peter's home plot would be the right place for her -- from his perspective, I think he's maybe met her once or twice, given his exit point -- since it promises to be a pretty personal plot, and, as I mentioned above, I've already locked it down. That said, I don't know what Mala has in mind for Layla's home plot or if there are any other X-plots in the works, so you may still have an opportunity to send her on one, just... not Pete's, sorry. D:

No, no, it's totally cool. I didn't know anything about it at all (and I only didn't express interest last month because I wasn't entirely certain I'd be apping), but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

I think that last month I was so hyper-focused on what was going on with space plot that the comments about home plot didn't really click for me. That said, rather than say I'd like to put Pepper in, I'll just ask you what you think. Whether it's appropriate, etc, since I don't know exactly what you have planned and I don't want her to be in the way.

With the way the plot's being structured, Pepper's presence would affect Tony more so than Peter after the initial arrival, so I talked it over with Scott. While she wouldn't be in the way, our concern is that she wouldn't have much to do beyond meeting the taller, blue-eyed, has-his-shit-together Tony that Peter knows (and is expecting). Which could be interesting in and of itself, granted, in a "what if?" sort of way, but a fair warning that the plot is going to feel like about a month, not just two days.

In short, I'm not opposed to the idea, as Pepper is obviously a good friend, and it'd be neat for her to see Pete's world, but there's no real way to work her into the superheroing part of the plot. (Now that I think about it, I guess her involvement would sort of be comparable to the space station stuff, actually, in that she'd be there for the beginning and the aftermath.) If that works for you, though, I can definitely send you more information when I (finally) type it all up.

I think I'll just opt her out, then. I don't want to feel like I'm slowing anybody down or anything. And, while I do think it would be really very interesting for Pepper to get to go to that universe, the fact that it will have been a month gone for everyone else and only a couple of days for her could be interesting, too. But if you could CC me the details anyway I would appreciate it, as it will help me plan for the aftermath.

And yessss, so do I. Obviously, LOL. A couple of weeks back I decided I needed a Tobey icon that wasn't him in bed with RDJ. XD
