[SotP | November 2011]

This month was emotionally draining and plagued by health concerns; as such, I do not have the spoons to go into a particularly in-depth SotP, but nevertheless wanted to get my affairs in order for December.

However, please note: due to the fact that I will be moving across the country in January, it is my intention to get those reqs started before the end of December so that I don't fall disastrously behind. I'll put up another post with more information closer to the date.

Thread Requests are pretty much what they say on the tin; if you have something specific that you wanted -- whether it be a tag-in or a private thread -- let me know here. They are NOT limited to three per character.

PETER PARKER | The Amazing Spider-Man

✒ Has finally entered the depression stage of the grieving process.
✒ Will be subdued for the duration of December -- Christmas, especially -- though somewhat relieved for the more familiar environment of a city.
✒ I... am a little hesitant to open him up to the general public this month. I have a few ideas for some private threads -- the fact that there are bridges, for example, is incredibly significant for Pete, and I'd like to do something with that -- but I'm no longer sold on an open EP. ETA: Could change my mind again later. Probably will. Playing it by ear.

✒ Stumbled across a neat idea for a plot in the New Year. Need to work out kinks, but I'm looking at a February-April timeline. Still need to... Share said idea and get mod approval. This is my note to self to get on that.
✒ Isn't a fan of time-travel, but lived in England for a spell while he was an actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Is gonna work the hell out of all that Victorian clothing. He might even get his Sherlock on and affect an English accent for shits and giggles. Might get an EP.
✒ ETA: Could do a low-key gathering post for the acting class and a Christmas performance if there's interest?

BUCKY BARNES | Captain America

✒ Pearl Harbor anniversary on the 7th.
✒ Marvel Christmas Party with beautiful Victorian clothes and possible fisticuffs?
✒ Haven't decided if I'll let him keep his arm as is, give him a steampunk one that requires maintenance, or just have him be one-armed for the duration of the plot. The first... would probably be the easiest, and I'm admittedly a bit burned out on Bucky (ALLITERATION), but the latter two could be really interesting, so I'm torn.
✒ Will be quietly suspicious of such a drastic change in environment, but that will ultimately be outweighed by his nostalgia for the good ol' days, as he spent quite a bit of time in England during the War.
✒ Will make damn good use of his horse.

✒ Is 100% FOR SURE getting an EP on the 1st wherein he is wandering around town aimlessly, because the dude is gonna be incredibly disoriented. Might add stealth mistletoe for flavour, might not. PLOTS LIKE THIS ARE WHY I WANTED TO PLAY HIM.
✒ He needs some bros.
✒ Once he gets his bearings, he will love, love, love being in a city again, will probably bust out his newly steampunk Daredevil costume and run across some rooftops.
✒ Maybe he could get grievously injured on the night before things get changed back in January. I don't know, throwing that out there, but I'd like something in his status quo to change by the New Year.

✒ Playing his activity mostly by ear. For the moment, he's not a character who'll generate his own plot so much as get dragged into the plot of others, and I'm okay with that. I've got enough plot-generators.

In regards to the future... We'll see. I'm able to comfortably make reqs for seven even when I'm feeling down in the dumps, which is awesome, but with the holidays and stuff, I'm debating whether or not it's wise to app again so soon. So that's another thing I'm playing by ear.

✒ See, if I went with the steampunk arm, he'd be able to show off some of his mechanical skills, which I like, since I haven't really touched upon those, but I could also see him getting frustrated with that and just going without when he didn't need it. I just don't know if I want to tackle another relatively serious plot so soon.
